This magnificent 5-bedroom, 5-bath Mediterranean-style home is situated in the Country Club neighborhood along the San Diego coastline, offering the best views of gorgeous ocean sunsets, La Jolla Village, beach, and golf course views. It features secluded terraces and gardens surrounded by palm trees and fountains, as well as back terraces with sweeping views for entertaining with barbecue, pool, spa, and fountains.
Each of the five bedrooms comes with walk-in closets. The master bedroom and baths are spacious, convenient, and is complete with a beautiful view of La Jolla and the coast! This Spanish Villa is situated on a larg lot in the La Jolla Country Club neighborhood of San Diego, California. It features classic Spanish Villa appointments such as Saltillo tile flooring, tile roof, elegant wrought iron railings inside and out and beautiful gardens and terraces with palm trees and flowers surrounding the house. This residence is fenced and offers a great deal of privacy for guests. There is a three-car garage and a driveway which fits 3+ additional cars (6 car maximum).
As you enter the property, you are greeted with lush landscaping and a water fountain that leads you to the front door (which has a window that opens to ocean views). The middle floor off the entryway features a beamed living room with magnificent ocean views from a historical window designed by Architect Thomas Shepherd (La Valencia Hotel), with sofa seating and a gas-burning fireplace. Adjacent is a family room with comfy sectional seating, a flat-screen TV and the Pasadena sleeping porch, with ocean and sunset views, where you can kick back and relax on one of the sofas, sipping your beverage of choice.
The 10-person ocean-view dining room is adjacent to the large gourmet kitchen, with an island and an ocean-view breakfast table. Step outside the dining room & kitchen onto a spacious deck equipped with outdoor teak dining tables, an outdoor gas fireplace and Lynx gas grill. From here, you can see forever with spectacular views of the ocean, coastline, golf course and city lights.
There are 5 full-size bedrooms. The Master Suite is on the main level, and 3 bedrooms are up 7 steps off the kitchen, with a hallway closing door. The 5th bedroom is on the middle level. All bedrooms have hardwood flooring and lots of closet space. The spacious Master Suite features a balcony, a day-bed sofa (sitting room), access to the patio and spa, as well as views from the comfy king-size bed. The Master Bathroom features his and her bathrooms with a tub in hers and walk-in shower in his.

I would say that all the photos of the property were extremely accurate except for the photos of the view from the house. They were so breathtakingly beautiful and they were amazing from all areas of the house.
The house was a bit older but it just lended to the charm of the house which was full of many special places to read a book, relax or spend time with family. Another unexpected surprise was a hike to the top of the neighborhood which had a trail that extended 2 miles and ended up with a breathtaking view of the ocean and the city of La Jolla. Had a few questions for the owner and she replied immediately.

This is a large beautiful home with all amenities in place. It's perfect for large families - with 5 full bedrooms in different corners of the house that allow for privacy. We stayed with my older parents, our family (2 kids 8 and 5, husband, me) and my brother. We had ample space and great common areas, especially outside. The manager was responsive. The pool is a lap pool so it's narrow, but amazing. One thing to keep in mind is that there are multiple sets of stairs so for older individuals or toddlers it can be a bit tedious to walk around. (We were ok, but it made us a bit nervous). Stunning outdoor views and spaces to eat, gorgeous sunsets. Outdoor grill. A real "vacation home". Very close to shops, good restaurants, gym etc. Would stay again.

Cozy, comfortable and clean - loved the layout of this place. Views are incredible, many relaxing little nooks all with excellent views. Note, not all the bedrooms have their own bathroom so just be aware of that. Definitely not a problem but good to know. Great stay - perfect for several couples.

This beautiful home was perfect for our group (me and my husband and our adult daughters and their partners). The layout of the bedrooms allowed everyone to have their own space, while the spacious living areas inside and out provided great gathering spaces. The property is exquisitely landscaped, and we thoroughly enjoyed the pool, hot tub, patios and decks, especially the dining area with grill and fireplace on the roof. The kitchen was very well equipped, and since we really enjoyed cooking together, we really appreciated this. Awesome views and good location, we'll definitely be back!

Not a home for anyone that cannot do stairs. Beds were comfortable, furniture in each room was comfortable and elegant..
Kitchen needs a few things, more then 4 steak knives, more then 1 set of tongs so as you can see there is not much to complain about.
House was very comfortable for 6 adults ( 2 couples and 2 singles) one 3 month old baby.
Pool is not fenced from the home so young children would not be advised.
When we come back to La Jolla we will look to stay here again!!

I can't say enough positive things about this property, it was like staying at our own 5 star private resort. The house is extremely spacious, but charming and immaculately kept. The design included multiple levels which provided multiple terraces, patios and sitting rooms. The property manager was great and check-in was a breeze. The kitchen was stocked with appliances, dishes, pots and pans and even spices. The house is located on a hill in a quiet neighborhood overlooking LaJolla. The views were breathtaking and the landscaping was gorgeous. We enjoyed the beautiful pool and hot tub and paid the extra fee to have it heated - it was well worth it because the heater worked great. The bedrooms were large and tastefully decorated. We look forward to returning as soon as possible!

The views from this home are the highlight of this property. The house is a bit dated, but it’s clearly been kept up very well. We had some issues with the house being ready at check-in time, but the cleaning staff clearly does a very through job. Something to note is that the heater for the hot tub can’t be on at the same time as the pool, so you can’t use both at the same time in the winter. The pool also doesn’t get super warm, but we were still able to enjoy it with the sun shining. There are a lot of steps in the home, so maybe not the best with little kids (we had 2 toddlers) but the home would be fantastic for adult parties. The hot tub is also a bit strange, as it drains and refills at weird times so when we wanted to use it one morning the water had gone down below the jets so we couldn’t use the jets. The house also doesn’t have many basics - like coffee, limited toiletries were provided - compared to other properties we’ve stayed at so I would advise bringing your own.

This La Jolla property is stunning - it is a wonderfully maintained, beautiful home. The views are amazing. You feel far away from the busy streets of La Jolla but you are only a couple of minutes away from the shops, restaurants and attractions of downtown.
That is, if you want to leave the house at all. The excellently appointed kitchen made our Thanksgiving preparations a pleasure. The outdoor spaces including several patios, the hot tub and pool were amazing and well-kept. The pictures posted are very true to what you find at the home. It is truly that picturesque.
Megan was very easy to communicate with and attentive to the couple of things we needed to contact her about before and during our stay. She was a pleasure to deal with.
The only caveat that I would issue is that there are many levels in this home with numerous stair cases connecting them all. While these levels make for beautiful, unique spaces it also might be a challenge for older visitors or others who have difficulty traversing stairs. Just something to consider if your party has such concerns.
We have rented homes for family gatherings in the area on several occasions and this has been our unanimous favorite. We would definitely return.

This is one of the few properties I have stayed at when the pictures did not do it justice. This home is as close to perfect as you can get for a group or family vacation. The kitchen is fully functional and just loved the multiple spaces to gather, some outside and some in, and all fit 8-10 comfortably. The lay out of the home is wonderful, it's beautiful and also comfortable.

We rented the property for 5 days to celebrate my 50th birthday with my family and thoroughly enjoyed our time there! The views were amazing and the house was fabulous. The style of the house was so original with a Spanish flair! Very roomy and spacious. My favorite part of the house was the amazing view from the living room through the enormous window. Just spectacular!
Kitchen is fully stocked with pots, pans, etc. had access to washer and dryer which was great.
The only minor issue was sometimes it took a bit for the shower water in the master bath to get hot. Otherwise everything was amazing! I would have stayed forever if I could!

We loved this house! It does have a lot of stairs and different levels which isn’t ideal for some, but the architecture and the views were amazing! We loved the quiet neighborhood feel and the renovations made to the home were nice. The master was great, loved the two separate showers and toilets! The hot tub and pool were easy to use and to keep heated! Loved all of the seating areas in the home.

This property is absolutely gorgeous, more beautiful than what can be captured in a photo. The house has several floors and very roomy so we could gather to play games or find a quiet space to read. We opted to have the pool and spa heated which was wonderful as the nights were chilly and the water would have been too cold to swim in otherwise. The house sits on a hill in a quiet neighborhood and the morning views and evening sunsets were brilliant. The house was supplied with all the necessities and Megan was so quick to answer questions we had. We had fantastic vacation, this is definitely a 5 star property.

It was a great home. The view of the ocean was beautiful when the October fog cleared. It was a wonderful location that was within 5-20 minutes to everything we did. The multi-level house gave everyone a place to call their own and not be too noisy. The hot tub also heated up quickly and was perfect for the family. Everyone loved the home.
We so appreciate Megan going above and beyond to make the booking and stay experience wonderful and easy. We hope to have another excuse to rent this home in the future!

This property was great, met our needs, was centrally located, and attention customer service made our stay enjoyable. There are a lot of areas for the family to come together and to have some alone time if desired throughout the property inside and out. There are several sets of stairs to climb up and down, but as home is tri level, the steps were not a problem for our family. We do recommend that even in the summer, the option to heat the pool should be taken, as morning and later evening swimming was very cold. Home and grounds are very well maintained, clean, and have character.

I would say that all the photos of the property were extremely accurate except for the photos of the view from the house. They were so breathtakingly beautiful and they were amazing from all areas of the house.
The house was a bit older but it just lended to the charm of the house which was full of many special places to read a book, relax or spend time with family. Another unexpected surprise was a hike to the top of the neighborhood which had a trail that extended 2 miles and ended up with a breathtaking view of the ocean and the city of La Jolla. Had a few questions for the owner and she replied immediately.
Would definitely stay there again.!!!!

This is a large beautiful home with all amenities in place. It's perfect for large families - with 5 full bedrooms in different corners of the house that allow for privacy. We stayed with my older parents, our family (2 kids 8 and 5, husband, me) and my brother. We had ample space and great common areas, especially outside. The manager was responsive. The pool is a lap pool so it's narrow, but amazing. One thing to keep in mind is that there are multiple sets of stairs so for older individuals or toddlers it can be a bit tedious to walk around. (We were ok, but it made us a bit nervous). Stunning outdoor views and spaces to eat, gorgeous sunsets. Outdoor grill. A real "vacation home". Very close to shops, good restaurants, gym etc. Would stay again.

This beautiful home was perfect for our group (me and my husband and our adult daughters and their partners). The layout of the bedrooms allowed everyone to have their own space, while the spacious living areas inside and out provided great gathering spaces. The property is exquisitely landscaped, and we thoroughly enjoyed the pool, hot tub, patios and decks, especially the dining area with grill and fireplace on the roof. The kitchen was very well equipped, and since we really enjoyed cooking together, we really appreciated this. Awesome views and good location, we'll definitely be back!

Not a home for anyone that cannot do stairs. Beds were comfortable, furniture in each room was comfortable and elegant..
Kitchen needs a few things, more then 4 steak knives, more then 1 set of tongs so as you can see there is not much to complain about.
House was very comfortable for 6 adults ( 2 couples and 2 singles) one 3 month old baby.
Pool is not fenced from the home so young children would not be advised.
When we come back to La Jolla we will look to stay here again!!

I can't say enough positive things about this property, it was like staying at our own 5 star private resort. The house is extremely spacious, but charming and immaculately kept. The design included multiple levels which provided multiple terraces, patios and sitting rooms. The property manager was great and check-in was a breeze. The kitchen was stocked with appliances, dishes, pots and pans and even spices. The house is located on a hill in a quiet neighborhood overlooking LaJolla. The views were breathtaking and the landscaping was gorgeous. We enjoyed the beautiful pool and hot tub and paid the extra fee to have it heated - it was well worth it because the heater worked great. The bedrooms were large and tastefully decorated. We look forward to returning as soon as possible!

The views from this home are the highlight of this property. The house is a bit dated, but it’s clearly been kept up very well. We had some issues with the house being ready at check-in time, but the cleaning staff clearly does a very through job. Something to note is that the heater for the hot tub can’t be on at the same time as the pool, so you can’t use both at the same time in the winter. The pool also doesn’t get super warm, but we were still able to enjoy it with the sun shining. There are a lot of steps in the home, so maybe not the best with little kids (we had 2 toddlers) but the home would be fantastic for adult parties. The hot tub is also a bit strange, as it drains and refills at weird times so when we wanted to use it one morning the water had gone down below the jets so we couldn’t use the jets. The house also doesn’t have many basics - like coffee, limited toiletries were provided - compared to other properties we’ve stayed at so I would advise bringing your own.

This La Jolla property is stunning - it is a wonderfully maintained, beautiful home. The views are amazing. You feel far away from the busy streets of La Jolla but you are only a couple of minutes away from the shops, restaurants and attractions of downtown.
That is, if you want to leave the house at all. The excellently appointed kitchen made our Thanksgiving preparations a pleasure. The outdoor spaces including several patios, the hot tub and pool were amazing and well-kept. The pictures posted are very true to what you find at the home. It is truly that picturesque.
